This research area deals with the CSR within those professions associated with 'The City' of law and finance.

It includes work looking at governance and accountability within the financial services sector including projects looking at the legal implications of the ‘Bank Bail Out’ in the wake of the 2008/2009 Credit Crunch and the role that excessive remuneration played in creating the crisis. Other research work in this area looks at the impact of financial services on the natural environment, financial services governance in the Gulf States and amongst developing nations, and work looking at the implications of the liberalisation of the legal profession in Europe.
