CSR is a fundamental theme throughout much of BRASS’s research agenda, and also the specific focus for a variety of projects. BRASS research work has included studies on the implications of the CSR agenda for business sectors such as food and mining; the relevance of the conventional CSR agenda for smaller companies; the relationship between the CSR and sustainability agendas and business ethics.
There have also been a range of BRASS CSR related projects and publications on specific issues such as human capital and diversity, climate change, human rights, social exclusion and the role of major companies in the alleviation of poverty.
