Alternative Business Models in Transport and Infrastructure
Dr Peter Wells, Dr Paul Nieuwenhuis.
One of the key projects in BRASS phase I involved the automotive Micro factory Retailing concept. In BRASS II the research focus was broadened to take a more global look at the move towards alternative business models in the automotive sector. It is informed by the notion that changing vehicle type or powertrain brings with it the need to change the production and consumption aspects of the car. This heading also covers CSR work as it applies to the automotive sector, an area that interfaces neatly with other CSR work within BRASS.
