Regulation is one of the key mechanism by which businesses and individuals engage with the sustainability agenda. BRASS has considerable expertise in the development and application of regulation in fields including contaminated land, waste electronic, nanotechnologies and construction and demolition waste. Recently BRASS has focussed on issues of environmental justice including the development of The Law and Your Environment website to help individuals, communities and small firms understand and access environmental justice.
